Your C.202 Folgore looks excellent Enrico. Is it 1/48? I have a Hasegawa C.205 in my stash and I hope the smoke-ring camo turns out as good as yours.

Many thanks gorbygould. It's 1/32 scale, from a 21st Century Toys box. The original kit is quite a toy, I did a lot of work to get this result. Landing gear and wheels bay totally built from scracht (except the wheels, CMK resin for Fiat G50), elevators and rudder corrected, exhaust CMK resin for Bf109E, pilot seat moulded from a plasticard sheet, many others stuff from scratch...
To be honest, I'm not quite satisfied for smoke-ring result, It was my first attempt with this camo and I hoped to get an heavier marking line...
If you plan a C.205 you can also chose an ANR camo, without smoke-ring and with grey mottles Luftwaffe style. My next build will be a C.205, from a 21st Century Toys kit too.

I like the faded/worn look of the smoke-rings as you have done them. As for the ANR camo, no no no, for me the C.202 and C.205 have to have the smoke-rings, they don't look right without them. Just had a look at a couple of reviews for this kit and I'm even more impressed with what you ended up with, from a very simplistic kit. Congratulazione!

Thank you again! The worn and dusty effect is due to some transparent filter that I sprayed to finish the model. This aircraft was operated in North Africa during 1942, it is arguable that sun and dust action had quickly worn the paint.
So now I'm waiting for your smoke-rings Macchi 205. If you plan a trip to Italy, don't forget to visit Vigna di Valle Museum near Rome, where you can find the only survived 205, in smoke-rings dress.

You may have to wait quite a while to see my smoke rings Enrico as I'm not sure when I'll be doing my Veltro. Even though I usually do out of the box builds, my last one, a Do 335, took two months. Not because I'm a perfectionist, but because I've got too many competing interests.
I would love to visit Rome, but if I did, the last place my wife would want to go is an aircraft museum! I've just had a look at the Wiki entry for the museum you mentioned – wow, they have a good collection!
