Completed model
F-16A/C Fighting Falcon (rear)
F-16A/C Fighting Falcon (front)
freehanded stripes using optivisor
gloss coat ready for stickers
decals from Two Bobs decals. The ones that came with the kit were really poor quality.
freehanded yellow stripes using an optivisor
heavy load, but why not...
made the area around the gun muzzle really messy from reference photos I saw of aged F-16s
Alclad on that tailpipe
sometimes I tape the original kit box on the wall when I work in case the instructions are ambiguous (these definitely were)

Thanks for the kind words! This was a really junky kit. I think I paid $16 for it and the fitting was poor in many places. Since I didn't have much to lose, it was my first jump back into doing jets after about 27 years of not modeling.

added some more WIP photos. I didn't take any during construction or pre-shading unfortunately. This was my first attempt at freehanding a mottled color on the topside by mixing a couple of different shades and just spot blasting with the airbrush here and there to add a lot of tonal variation.
