I originally bought the popsicle stick for my F4F, but this was a practice run I couldn't resist.
Spanjaard, it was SO hard not to take over. But he did a decent enough job for a first attempt. (Can't praise him too much or he'll think he's better than me at that age)
Once the bug bites him once more, it's Revells 1:72 p-51b next.

The P-51B should be nice, the P-51D is only good for getting cheap but good decals. 😉
