Rossi Peugeot 206
I get all the way to the end and find one damn decal has gone into hiding! Should be a pair of little Gifrones next to the headlights but the blue one......poof! And those eyes on the mirrors.......ugh. i thought they worked as a pair only to find out that wasn't the case.
Somehow, the red 46s for the sides were off set from their base white and crumbled.....so, not 100% accurate, i'm affraid. But I may well finish this one after all.
All of my refs say there are no markings on the bumper. I laid down a piece of tape then applied the decal. once set, off came the tape with the excess Michelin Man.

The fun thing to me with that PE set is it gives you the dash vents. ....and a phone....and fan blades you'll never see again.
Also trying out Eduards harnesses. Even with a coat of flat clear, they still look a bit too metallic.

Cleared the big hurtle: the Michelin Man! The Renaissance set comes with 2 decals, a full white decal and the man himself that goes on top of that. Neither of which were cut to fit the headlights or grilles, so dealing with that much decal on an uneven surface was fun....TWICE! But it came out and now I can move forward.

We've all been there mate. I've often asked myself, are they ever finished?

The ongoing problem with this one is there's a "Gifrone" on the front radiator mesh that I need to make a stencil for, that may never happen, so this one may never be "finished", but I may finish it.

Yeah, the problem I have experienced is with a white decal on a blue surface, the scanner can't pick up the white. The thought then would be to "negative" the scan but because it's blue, it doesn't work. But my idea now is to apply that white decal onto something black, scan it and invert the colors then cut a stencil with the die cutting thingy. Kind of labor intensive.

ok, that is strange. i scanned some white decals over the usual blue and it was ok. and using GIMP, converted it to vectors in just a couple of steps.

Can one PM on this site? My technology is ancient. Using Sihoutte Portrait, it can't/won't outline white as it thinks it's blank, I guess.
