Tamiya Ducati 900SS
More or less completed... Finally!
First step: remove the appalling chrome finish
I’m trying out Vallejo Metal Color for the engine. First step is priming using their Gloss Black Surface Primer.
Frame assembled and ready to prime. I was going to build it “out of the box” but I couldn’t help but replace the main bolts on the frame with Meng ones, they are too prominent and it would have really annoyed me.
One Ducati 900SS engine painted and assembled.
Vallejo Metal Colors: thumbs up 🙂 Humbrol Black Enamel Wash: thumbs down 🙁
Progress.
Slow but steady progress
Celebration time! It’s been a while since I finished something...

Here you go Marty, I told you this guy was good! Very impressive engine Scott, agree with the wash, can you thin it at all? Spanjaard, I'll stick with a beer, you can have the kiddies food!
