amazing job! i did the type 97 about 20+ years ago... but it did certainly not look as good as yours. this dio contains some oldies but goldies... the budha is the old Verlinden one scalemates.com/kits/188936-v..ions-366-vietnam-temple-ruin right? i did use that one also 20+ years ago, but for a Vietnam dio 🙂
anyway, you did a really great job on this one!! and the fotography, excellent too 🙂

Thank you for your appreciation! Spanjaard knows everything: He also found out the right figure set! The diorama is one of my earlier works of the eighties. Tamiya kits were state of the art then. Looking back they seem rather simple now.

Awesome👍
Great photography too, looks like the scene is in the jungle with the trees in the background. Really beautiful work!

That's bloody brilliant! The build quality is beyond reproach of course but the scene staging is just incredible in its realism 👍

The twin suspension , B 8, for the road wheels, A 8, could be glued to the lower hull in a non horizontal angle, then looking like being "workable". 🙂

So glad this one has popped up again, Neuling, as it is a masterpiece in tonal variations and weathering - looks fantastic 🙂) Loving the jungle background too - soo realistic 😉

I'm working on tamiyas double box version of the SPG and fine molds 4×4 recon car box set. The tamiya kit is a really nice kit for its age, using aftermarket tracks set by vision models workable type 97 track, and tamiyas old Japanese inf set, going to add tamiyas jeep kit, and make an attacking Japanese dio, with the jeep knocked out on the side of a dirt road/ditch shot up with a 1st ever attempt at dead soldiers molded with sculpta mold and old plastic figures from italeri. I hope it'll be half as good as yours.

Thank you mates! Glad you like my old stuff! - Rick402 I´m looking forward to your planned diorama, though not being shure whether it´s a good idea to show dead people in a build ............

Gems don't go bad with age, I think. 😉
Very impressive dio, Neuling. 👍 You really know how to get some very good shots and set the mood with your photos.
