I realized only too late that the rear compartment should look like this on P-35As, which are Swedish P-35 that were requisitioned, and essentially not modified.
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/5/7/7/766577-15126-79-720.jpg)
The same seating arrangement is visible on this Swidish P-36.
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/5/7/9/766579-15126-81-pristine.jpg)
The preserved Swedish P-36 was eventually modified to receive cameras pointing sideways and down.
The rear of the pilot's seat is visible.
The rear of the pilot's seat is visible.

![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/5/8/4/766584-15126-30-720.jpg)
Besides its poor fit and wrong conception (no rear seat, no back wall), the Little Fokker resin cockpit needs a fair bit of detail added... Not an essential addition to the kit, in the end !
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/5/8/5/766585-15126-68-720.jpg)
Reheat photo etch and other details needed !
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/5/8/6/766586-15126-93-720.jpg)
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/5/8/7/766587-15126-85-720.jpg)
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/5/8/8/766588-15126-49-720.jpg)
The resin needs help here too...
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/5/8/9/766589-15126-13-720.jpg)
Getting there slowly...
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/5/9/0/766590-15126-63-720.jpg)
Better when it's together and busy.
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/5/9/1/766591-15126-24-720.jpg)
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/5/9/2/766592-15126-75-720.jpg)
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/5/9/3/766593-15126-58-720.jpg)
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/5/9/4/766594-15126-84-720.jpg)
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/5/9/5/766595-15126-11-720.jpg)
Hard paper and super glue to make the wheel wells walls !
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/5/9/6/766596-15126-94-720.jpg)
Fit of the cockpit is poor indeed... A lot of Evergreen strips are needed to fill those very visible gaps.
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/5/9/7/766597-15126-46-720.jpg)
I like to use 'flash' to fill in those long gaps... Am I the only one to like flash ? 😉
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/5/9/8/766598-15126-11-720.jpg)
More wheel well detail... A weak point of the Hobbycraft kit, for sure !
![Album image #20 Album image #20](/albums/img/5/9/9/766599-15126-17-720.jpg)
The front air scoop should jut over a bit of the engine cowling.
![Album image #21 Album image #21](/albums/img/6/0/0/766600-15126-13-720.jpg)
The kit engine with details added. The color in the picture is bluer than in reality.
![Album image #22 Album image #22](/albums/img/6/0/1/766601-15126-79-720.jpg)
![Album image #23 Album image #23](/albums/img/6/0/2/766602-15126-36-720.jpg)
On the left, the corrected and thinned out wheel cover.
![Album image #24 Album image #24](/albums/img/6/0/3/766603-15126-82-720.jpg)
Front and back of the wheel covers, thinned out from the inside too.
![Album image #25 Album image #25](/albums/img/6/0/4/766604-15126-26-720.jpg)
And shaped with the poper bevel.
![Album image #26 Album image #26](/albums/img/6/0/5/766605-15126-58-720.jpg)
The walls in the rear part of the wheel wells, including the small side part.
![Album image #27 Album image #27](/albums/img/6/0/6/766606-15126-79-720.jpg)
I could have corrected the shape of the protrusion behind the lower scoop but decided to leave it as it is. Enough very visible work is needed elsewhere.
![Album image #28 Album image #28](/albums/img/6/0/7/766607-15126-27-720.jpg)
That long scoop needs attention to fit somewhat poperly.
![Album image #29 Album image #29](/albums/img/6/0/8/766608-15126-50-720.jpg)
HC did not place the landing gear legs in the right place. They need to be moved forward, and the original holes plugged.
![Album image #30 Album image #30](/albums/img/6/0/9/766609-15126-78-720.jpg)
The rolll-over protection needs to be redone, since it's such a visible part.
![Album image #31 Album image #31](/albums/img/6/1/0/766610-15126-35-720.jpg)
![Album image #32 Album image #32](/albums/img/6/1/1/766611-15126-16-720.jpg)
And the armored plate added to it.
![Album image #33 Album image #33](/albums/img/6/1/2/766612-15126-75-720.jpg)
![Album image #34 Album image #34](/albums/img/6/1/3/766613-15126-72-720.jpg)
![Album image #35 Album image #35](/albums/img/6/1/4/766614-15126-93-720.jpg)
The landing gear is nearly finished. The retracting arms go inside the wing, with an actuating mechanism between them, often hidden by a cloth cover.
![Album image #36 Album image #36](/albums/img/6/1/5/766615-15126-76-720.jpg)
I added a small bumper where the leg touches the wing. Wheel well detail and walls are visible here.
![Album image #37 Album image #37](/albums/img/6/1/6/766616-15126-43-720.jpg)
The landing gear leg is 'articulated' around a piece of Evergreen rod.
![Album image #38 Album image #38](/albums/img/6/1/7/766617-15126-99-720.jpg)
The near-final front, with modified/improved propeller hub, cowl guns, top air scoop and gunsight.
