OHMS Budget Build

After priming the model in Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 Black I started squiggling the underside and sides to get a beaten up look. 

As the Fujimi instructions weren’t very clear on the color schemes I used the Tamiya instructions for colors mixtures and demarcation lines. 

Squiggling my way ahead! 

 

I left the cowling and propeller as a loose unit to handle the model by the front fuselage. 

Despite being 30 years old, the decals went on fine! 

Well, except for the tail band... 

Hitting it with Mr. Paint Matt Clear. 

 

Ready for transport. 

 

On the way home I had to find room for this medal in my transport box.
