Very nice Jos! I love this camouflage. I really need to get around to working on my Mirages.

Awesome! Very beautiful result! Might pick one up as well, would you recommend the kit?

Very nice job Jos! The camo looks excellent and the weathering types & level seems just right for this plane. I guess you struggled with the Italeri decals, but in the end here they look better than they deserve... 🙂 I also like the used fuel tank with the silver tip, a cool detail for the otherwise monotonous underside 👍
@Nathan, there are so many cool finishes for Mirages, I do not even want to dive into this topic, at least for now...

Thanks, Nathan, Daniel & Daniel, James, Slavo, Konrad and Arne, I built this Mirage two years ago but never shared it here at scalemates. I think this is a great camouflage scheme, it was hard to find the right blue and gray, but at the time I used Vallejo Model Color, Light Gray 70.990 (FS 36375) and Gray Bleu 70.943 (FS 35177).
@Daniel...no, I do not recommend this kit, you better go for the version of Revell or that of Kinetic which are more complete ... now I have never been a big fan of Italeri 😉...!
@Slavo...Indeed, the Italeri decals are a pain in the ass, a lot of silvering, to be solved after treatment with decal softener and varnish.

Thx Stephan, Neuling and Jens...not my best model, but I find the colors of this Mirage dazzling...
@Laurent...you could be right my friend, but this was build straight out of the box...

You turned this dog of a kit to a little gem. The Italeri kit depicts one of the prototype aircraft, so it needs a lot of work to turn it into a production aircraft.
Well done Jos!

Thx Sergej...maybe the panel lines have been emphasized a little too much, but for me this was the second model that I built after many years of absence in modeling...but I loved it to be back on track!
