Pencils and brushes in coke cans brings back memories of my art college years
That is a laboratory. Great Space 👍
Did you auction the kits, or sold them with fixed price?
Thanks everybody I'm glad you like my cave (palace) Rui I sold them with fixed prices, I wasn't asking huge $$$ but so far I've made about $4000Au so I'm pretty happy.🙂
Nice setup, and that view is fantastic. Almost feel like being outside!
Now if you fill the rest of the room with water and MREs, you are set for life in Paradise!
Ohh Michael! Not only a great hobby space but you can keep an eye on the Missus and make sure she doesn't slack off mowing the lawn when you are hard at work!!
@Rui S I have sold about 20. Great getting paid for what you love doing.
Don't forget good lighting. 🙂 I don't have any, so I use this small table lamp for now, to get some badly needed lighting. It is especially when airbrushing on a gloss coat, I really need to be able to see the spray hit the surface properly, otherwise I don't really see what is going on. 😄
Bloody hell, I know people who live in places smaller than your new man cave!
That´s a fantastic cave...palace, particular the view in the garden and lots of light in there, great! I would volunteer taking care of your cave once you´re on vacation 🙂
How do you managed the save shipping of your sold models? Did they arrived unbroken?
Wow, really great space, with so much natural light it must be a pleasure to work there & lack of space does not seem to be an issue too... 🙂 Wish you lots of fun there and some good future sales! 👍
This looks really great, generous and light-filled! The best conditions to bring great models into the world, as it can becan expected from you!
Thanks everybody for your lovely words. @Peter, the fire pitt will be used a lot in winter time and your more than welcome as is everybody else who wants to make the trip, @Coporado I double box them and cushion them in fiber fill, all good so far.🙂
Beautiful view from the window, lots of natural light. Dream modeler.
Album info
After slowly, very slowly getting over my move from Coffs to Coutts Crossing I'm starting to get the itch back into doing some more modeling. I've now come to the conclusion that when I had one full load of the truck just in modeling stuff that I had to much. So I've decided to sell off my built models on eBay which is quite fun waiting and watching where my models will end up. 80% are gone now and I've sold to places like the US, Spain, Italy, Peru, Finland, Germany and of course Australia. From now I will be building and then selling straight away when the model is finished. To help me get through my stash quicker I've also decided that I won't be using resin in every kit I build and stop trying to add as much detail in a kit than I can. I'll still do a couple of kits that will have some nice resin details but not as many as I would have thought at the beginning of the year.
