Completed the build and priming. Quite a bit of filling, sanding and panel line scribing. Primed with Mr. Surfacer 1200.

Taking a seat for the final. Looks like there is a lot of sanding and filling.

Thanks Manthieu - yes, lots of filling and sanding, particularly around the nose and engine cowlings. The model is optimized to display with the panels open, so if you want to have it buttoned up, "adjustments" are needed to get the shape right and close gaps. Also, a significant amount of scribing panel lines was required. I actually scribed after the primer because there was so much filler used.

Thanks Roland and Nigel. Much appreciated.
@Nigel- The stand is from Flightpose. www.flightpose.com. I use them for painting and have a few for displaying models in flight.

Nigel, David and Stefan, Thank you very much for the encouraging comments. Much appreciated.
@Nigel: I actually used Montex masks for the tail swastikas. I'm a novice with masks and they didn't turn out well initially and required lots of touch up. Next time I'll use decals. Thank again.

Hi, i got some questions. My decals in cockpit are not so sharp like yours. Did You use 3rid party decals? 2. Did anybody see that REVELL switch the camo patern on the wings? Where it is supposed to be brown is green where it is green and brown. Painting from instruction does not even match the drawing on the box 😉. I see that you do the correct painting. But what about the body. Do you have the correct painting scheme for white 4 on 3 party (not REVELL) sheets?
PS. Nice build!

Hi Grzegorz: Yes, I used third party decals for the instrument panel. The revel decals were not good (poor registration). I used Airscale Luftwaffe instrument decals. On the Revell camo pattern, yes I noticed they had the wing pattern backwards and that the instructions didn't match either the box cover or the sample model photo. For the body, I found an Eduard scheme that was same as a few others I found on line. Thanks for your comments!

Thanks again for the comments. Another quick update - this model won 2nd place in the 1/32 jet category at IPMS US Nationals in Omaha last week. It was a surprise for me but I'm very happy with the result. Thanks again.
