This is a very neat little kit!! Parts are precious and crisp, there layout will result on one hand in quite a fast build which will be on the other hand worth any second of patience and effort invested in this gem of a kit!

Thank you for your interest and words! Indeed, it seems to be a gem of a kit; I will try to do him justice

If you think you know every type of aircraft there is, just browse through Roland's albums👍

A few pictures to show the replacement of the kits pitot tube. I used a metal one from a Maestro Model set for a Saab Draken 🙂

The kits pitot part was exchanged with an aftermarket one, originally designed for a 1:48 scale Draken. Length and general dimension fit near to perfect. Albeit the Ha-300 was painted in Alu I simply had to give the surfaces some different shades- it seems to me as if pictures of the Ha-300 show slight differences of the panels shades.

Thank you Maciej!
This beautiful all-round trouble free package from A&A has been transformed into a quite pleasing little model. Hard to believe, that this little mosquito should be almost double sound-fast on the way!
I am happy to have mastered this "little" challenge, I hope you like the pictures.
Thanks for your interest and your comments!

Very neat finish 👍 Indeed I thought it's bigger but it turns out it's similar to the Gnat😉

Thank you Lukasz; In fact, all the time I was thinking about Folland's Gnat too!

Very nice Roland, that you built this piece of history! According to Wikipedia only 3 were built. I know, that one is on display in a german museum, but no more in Schleißheim, as stated in Wikipedia.

Thank you bughunter! Yes, it is most remarkable what kind of aircraft types you encounter through model making. Very enriching in any case!

@bughunter: Very sad news, hard to find the info where it's gonna be displayed in the future 🙁

Is it going to change in the foreseeable future?
(I know it's risky to use that wording in the Year of the Bat😉😢

I read one is located in Manching Messerschmidt Museum of Flight, but with restricted access. But another one is displayed and open to public in Cairo at the Egyptian Airforce museum.

Thank you for your contributions and comments, mates!
Jürgen, I would say, one more reason to visit Cairo 🙂

Super Baubericht auf MV - ich dachte zuerst an einen Hybrid aus Mirage III und MIG 21 🙂

Thank you both mates!! Da ging´s mir ähnlich! Ein Schuss Folland Gnat und Mirage F.1 könnte auch noch dabei sein! 🙂
Indeed, the similarity between Mig-21, Mirage III or F.1 is astonishing!

I didn't see in time the amazing building of this little one with history. A small interceptor commissioned from Willy Messerschmitt by the Spanish Air Force, due to the international blockade he was in. But the project was canceled, because Spain began to receive military aid from the United States with the arrival of the F-86 Sabre. A year later, the United Arab Republic (Egypt and Syria) acquired the aircraft documentation, together with the license to manufacture the HA-200 Saeta, and was in charge of developing it, giving rise to the first prototype of the HA-300.
Very nice result, Roland. Congrats!

One reason to get involved in model making is the interesting historical/biographical references of these machines, thanks Cuajete!
