If it looks good, it is good! Looks convincing and decent to me!

Very good work. Not often we see the aerial connector to the fuselage included. Great mottling too IMHO. 🙂

Thank you guys. Then I hope that the Fw190 will soon be just as pretty and that it can join the Bf109 in the showcase.

Lovely Emil, nicely built and the camo looks spot on! I might be mistaken, but it looks you might have forgotten to remove the paint masks from the small triangle windows on both bottom sides of the windscreen 😉

You're absolutely right, the masking on the triangles is actually still there, even though the model has been in the display case for almost 4 years. Oh boy, that happened to me with an F-4 Phantom too. Of course I corrected it immediately and removed it. Many thanks for your tip. Now I'll probably have to take new photos... 😄

Here is a little project for in between. My first WWII plane so far. As I found out, these parts are much smaller than modern fighter jets in 1/72 scale. Please do not pay so much attention to historical correctness. With the colors, it was more important to me to try the mottled camo. And it's not that easy at all. I really got on with the airbrush. In the end it was probably a draw between us, because you can certainly make more of it. However, for now I am satisfied. The Messerschmitt looks good in the showcase. 😉
