So bit more time at the bench between sleeping and napping (Trust me no one is more surprised than I at the amount of sleep I can manage)
This kit is lovely.. the parts fit with minimal messing around and I swear the way they have designed the fuselage to be built, you could hit someone with it and it would not buckle.. its a brick!

So its together, just needs a couple of dabs of filler but nothing major at all.

Wings on, and base coat put on just to see where fillers needed etc.. either way she is a sleek brick lol

So as uploaded yesterday, decals are started and I've done the wonderfully oddly pink sealant they use around the windows

Palo, I used AK True metal as a base, then before it had dried fully, I gave it a wash with Flory grime wash.

That was straight aluminium. I also gave it a coat of matt acrylic varnish which really knocked the shine down to normal levels

The decals set on really nicely - and they appear to be quite of good quality - you can read one while waiting for the next to get wet😉

They are really nice decals, they soak in about 15 seconds and go down with just a dab of sol needed.
Once they done, looking forward to getting some dirt on her, she's far too clean

So wash is done.. nose anti-glare was done.. but she got weathering rashed.. have some ideas on how to deal with it.. but over all she looks like a proper dirty MiG..
