Spartanian 170
Some reference from the anime series. The design of the Spartanian is not specific all the time.
This model will be based on Olivier Poplin's Spartanian 170. I'm going to print the decals myself.
1:144 Spartanian is massive! It is made of 3 parts: the cockpit, the main body and the laser cannons.
The model is printed with "white natural versatile plastic" meaning nylon and selective laser sintering (SLS). This results the surface is pretty coarse and needs to be sanded.
A lot of Surfacer 500, 1000 and filler spray.
The cocpit is now better after three sets of filler and sanding. The main fuselage will be more difficult.
After two sets of sanding and filler i painted the main body with blue to ensure that everything is sanded.
Almost everything is now sanded and should be smooth enough.
Stand is from a flea market.
Two long antenna from 2mm plastic rod. Also some thin rods added to the fins.
First black primer. Might still need some sanding and additional paint layers.
Some shading.
Painted with A.MIG-203 Compass Ghost Grey. I already had that and didn't bother to buy a new color for this.
Magenda-color comes slowly when I'm masking and painting areas one at a time. The color is 3rd gen AK11067.
Self-printed decals waiting for their turn.
Lunadiver and Spartanian are so similar XD both are Japanese, have similar stands and same grey color.
There are panel lines, some minor wash and satin varnish finished so the Spartanian is now complete!
Engine part was impossible to sand smooth. The details are quite minor also.

Thanks! I'm not fully satisfied with the result, but this is almost only way to get a model from Spartanian.
