Album info

The plane:
I want to depict a mig-29 on a airfield and chose the trumpeter kit because it has a tow bar included.
I used the russian decals for the kit. I Pianted some pannels in a different shade of colour to get a faded look. I also used a oil wash and oil paint weathered.

Modifications:
- Added wires in landing gear
- Added wires in gear bays.
- Added antennas to the wings and rudder.

The base:
I made the display base form the box of the mig-29. I make concrete tiles and glued them on the base. I preshaded the borders with a dark brown paint. I painted the concrete tiles in 3 different shades of gray and gave them a light grey dry brush. After that i used a knife to create some cracks in the concrete and added a black wash to the borders of the concrete. After that i added some static gras for a over grown effect.
