Ditto about the photography, I really need to improve my photo skills.
Well done rendition of this mean and ugly machine. Oh boy, dirty she is! 🙂
I like!
Very dirty. The heavy exhaust stains really draw the eye. Excellent work.
it looks fantastic. so what we see in picture 16 is toothbrush bristles? i would have never thought of that, but now it certainly makes perfect sense. thanks!
No worries, Spanjaard. Not my idea by the way, I saw another modeller use them years ago and just made a mental note, for one day when I need static dischargers on a plane.

Tamiya 1:48 Skyraider - "She's Salty and Diiiiiirty..."
I am going to call my contribution done, because if I keep on fiddling then things are going to end....well, not good.
Lots of mistakes made and lots of lessons learned again. Either way I had a lot of fun and thanks for hosting David and Terry.
Used mostly Mr Color and Tamiya paints.
Used some of the Eduard photo etch but most of it you can't really see.
Used the Eduard Mk 82 bombs.
Used the Quickboost cover for the extraction/ejection system.
Replaced the pitot and gun barrels with brass rods.
Used toothbrush threads for the anti-static lines for the first time and it worked really well.
Messed up some decals....lets say it is going with the "She's Salty and Dirty" theme! ?
Great kit even though it is quite old.
