Thanks, I have to take some more pictures in the next few days. I'm already in the painting and detailing.

Is this all 3D printed? Is that a regular Sabelt decal Microsoled onto the shoulder strap? I've toyed with that idea but havent tried it. If thats what you did, it came out really well.

Yes guys printed it by my Yes, almost all parts are also printed parts. Only here and there some brass and nickel silver or fabric. The straps are made of plaster material. The upholstery is modeled underneath with styrene and the decals have been burned in with softner.

Good to know the softener works. I bought some of those Tamiya belts and what a headache that was! Why they aren't precut is beyond me. I certainly cant cut that fine or that accurate so that there isnt white on the edges of the belts....awful.

I just used Leukosil, colored it in with Edding 4500 and then blow dried it to make it permanent. After that I cut it into the strips I needed and assembled it. Finally, you can trace the edges and backs and blow-dry again. It's really easy to use and I think it gives great results. I also work with silk ribbon, but the straps from the 80s and 90s in particular have these thinner double loops and these are difficult to reproduce in 1/20th scale.

Do you take suggestions for 3D printing? The early Lotus 78 had a lower airbox than the Tamiya kit and the Lotus 79 made its debut in Monaco 78 with a similar airbox to the 78s.

You can do a lot... 😉 You're probably thinking about a kind of conversion kit/part. Just write a PM and we can exchange ideas.

Chick on the name of the user that u want to send message, that takes you to his/her wall, there will be a box on top where u can type a message. Under it, there is the option of sending it as a private message (can only be seen by you and the user receiving it) or public (everyone can see it)
