[Hasegawa] Walker Mechine Xabungle - WIP
Box open.
Washing.
Trim & Sanding. Too many parts. 🙁
Painted black surfacer for anti 'sub surface scattering'.
Then white surfacer. (not perfectly coated)
Masking.
Painted white surfacer (perfectly coated now)
Done white parts.
I had a small workspace, so I had to paint in small batches.
So I painted the colors of the parts with the least number of parts first.
Matt black, Matt aluminium, Chrome, Stainless silver, Gunmetal, Copper.

Next, Metallic Gray. (This paint is just as useful as German Gray)
Now it's time to paint the main color, blue.
I decided to do a two-tone color scheme, so I made a light blue(R) and a dark blue (C).
The left color is failed, because too low saturated.

1st, Painted dark blue.
Then, matt coating. (Because the paint I made is a glossy paint)
Masking.
Painted lignt blue.
Masked again.
Painted yellow and orange.
Applied decal before matt coating.
Coated matt clear.
One more...
It's a lot of parts, but it's also a lot of size, which makes for a cramped workspace.

Painted with paint brush.
I just painted the engine to my liking.

Figures are not my category, but I just painted hard.
Applied Hasegawa Mirror Sheet.
Ready to assemble.
I placed a magnet on the inside of the sole to keep it in place when I put it in the case.
Assembled legs.
Because we're using ball joints for such a large leg, it's very flimsy 🙁

Assembled arms.
Assembled back, chest, waist(engine).
The cockpit seats two people, so that leaves one figure, but since there's room in the back, we can store it there.
Assembled remaining pelvis and head, gun.
Now it's just a matter of snapping the assembled parts together.
Finish. I skipped the washing, but I think it's pretty enough as it is.
Thanks for watching.
