Thanks all!! These old kits need some love too! And YES, I left the 'Revell 1982' stamp on purpose.....just seemed wrong to sand it off!

I used synthetic sewing thread for the wire.....and a #80 drill bit. I didn't go overboard with it.

Oops, sorry about that Michael. Yes, a little CA to hold it. The a CA/talc mix (50/50) with a sharp toothpick. It's thick but not too thick and I can shape it before it dries.

Album info
Decided to build one from my youth, first built this one back in 1982. Used decals from the spares box to do Ens. Tanners' -5 at Pearl Harbor.
