I've been very remiss in blogging this build. I'll have to get some photos together, my photo studio has been down due to space constraints, but I should be able to set it back up for some late stage WIP shots.
I will say that there is definitely a threshold for aftermarket add-ons. This build got all stores of goodies, and not all of them played well together. In the end I got everything shoehorned into the fuselage, but it was a battle. I'm almost glad I couldn't get a hold of the Aires wheel well inserts...not that much can be seen of them when the aircraft is parked. Anyway, I'm just about to start priming and polishing for the NMF. I'm using Alclad Polished Aluminum for the base, and we'll work out from there.
