1968 VW Beetle Polizei

Finally I started the "new" Beetle by Revell. The plan is, to built it as a Polizei car, which maybe not exists. There are four options for the kit, which non of it gets my interest. I'm just mixing two options to one. I researched the original cars to the license plate on the decal sheet and noticed, that one car changed the plates during it's life but still is the same car, and another is the former type of the Beetle (different shape of the body itself). So I think it doesn't matter, what parts I use for my Polizei Beetle.

I do want to use the speaker on the fender but don't like the flashing blue light. So this is, what I'm going to mix up the version 3 (flashing blue light on the left front corner on the roof) with version 1 (speaker on the fender)
Further on there will be no chrome on my Beetle. I think, most of the Beetles in duty of an authority were delivered as a standard without any extras.


So it will be my interpretation of the Polizei Beetle.
