I,m a Newbie myself, Nice looking Peterbuilt 359 truck with Grain Trailer. AMT or Revell did,nt actually produce this trailer, though could adapt cut down Fruehauf 40ft Box Beaded side trailer to make this rig

That's exactly what I'm planning on, I would need a lot of practice before attempting a full on scratch build of the trailer

What it's worth dept, the AMT products have better detailing than the Revell. The detail parts available on the market now days are so great I had to take another shot at building these great classics. Also I like the idea of the cut down trailer and then foil the sides. Best wishes

Yeah I know the detail issues with Revell models. I wanted to build an example of a Peterbilt 359 from both companies. I'll probably use the tires from Mobius.

I'm not sure about the Mobius, are they supposed to be better? I've just doctored up what I had.

I'm not sure if they are or not, but it beats the hard plastic tires that come with the kit

I could be mistaken but if I remember right you will have to get a different set of rims too, because the Revells go over the rim and not in it like the AMT.
