Curtis Tomahawk 1686 Bomber training Flight, whose job was to simulate enemy fighters to train bomber crews to defend their aircraft. The flight was formed in June 1943 and disbanded in August 1944.
The sharkmouth emblem was well known as being used by 112 Squadron in North Africa, and by the American Volunteer Group (Flying Tigers) in China, but its use on UK based aircraft is little known.
