AH-1G Cobra (Vietnam)

As it happens, a friend is making a 10-day building challenge, so I'll do this bird in 10 days. The only helicopter I've built is the Revell EC-135, which was.. bad, so definitely looking for some more fun build this time 🙂
Update: I finished this one, but never thought that the Airbus will be the better build... here I made serious mistakes, but the kit itself was giving me headaches, so not going to buy again (however I do like the Spanish version).
Tried to add tonal variation with the salt technique - the salt sticked so much that I couldnt remove all of it, so the surface became a tragedy. The tail section doesnt match the rear fuselage perfectly, so sanding, and re-scribing and riveting had to be done, which I had not do before. The result there fore is bad. The cockpit canopy is made of 5 different parts, which makes positioning a nightmare... of course it was misaligned. At that point I was so fed up with the build I seriously considered to bin all of it, but meh, finished, and to the shelf it goes.
