Mr DThanks, Appreciate the interest, lm reality new to the hobby about 14 months, finding my way with techniques.
Weathering n panel lines need more learning.
The IAR-80 was decent price from HB and liked the paint scheme...bit different

Nice to have the interest, HB instructions bit weak!
They said to paint interior charcoal black like on the FW-190.
But l checked n the Romanian lAR interior was grey/blue.
Engine building next 6 parts deal.

Mr DGood to have you along Miguel, engine n wings next,
A small amount of the wing is seen through bottom of cockpit, the HB instructions didn't mention painting it first!!
But the fit of the model be ok so far.

Mr DHi, Yes lve used it alot and holds up really well , l find the fillers a bit messy and more trouble than it's worth on small gaps.
You do need to allow overnight drying with it for best sanding results.

@Michael I only have the kit without the Marineflieger decals, hence the Peddinghaus ones. I 3d printed the Kormorans with the specific pylons for the F-104G. They were designed by cults3d.com/@Sufa312 after photos I have taken at the Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung in Koblenz. I think he did a great job and the files are free 🙂

AgniusThank you mates! I have closed the fuselage and spent few evenings to correct, fill and rescribe wing panel lines and hatches. Mainly using SAM modellers datafile as a referrence.

AgniusI intend to build the desert scheme version of Beaufighter Ic (or early VIc as it looks to me) of 272 squadron in Malta. This will require to modify the tail plane to make it straight type and observers cupola. Will see how it goes 🙂

AgniusAfter studying reference pictures and expert opinions I decided to paint it in Temperate Sea Scheme insted of desert. Not very happy with how dark slate grey turned out, but it will do. So painting, postshading and hairspray chipping done. Photos before clear coat.

JohnI think it looks quite good. What is it you are not liking about the grey? I think it has an overall faded look, which would be appropriate for sun and spray effects.
