Not sure what you mean by "special". It was one of many Anigrand resin kits that helped me fill in some blanks in my US Fighter series. The Anigrand kits fill in almost all of the blanks above XP-74 Most of the fighters for which I cannot find kits are the pre-WWII USAAC planes (although I have found the Curtiss P1, P2, P3, P5. and XP-15).
In terms of being special to me - I love it because it's such an unusual design. I have another such beast I'm working on: the Republic XF-103. I'm also looking forward to building the XF-84H 'Thunderscreech', and the McDonnell XP-67 'Bat'.

I have an XF-91 thunderceptor to build. But not sure what to do with all the rivets.

Ben M I didn't have rivet problems with mine: I built the Project-X vacuform 1:72 Thunderceptor, No rivets on that kit. It also provided a 'butterfly' tail option, which I did. The butterfly tail was installed after the second prototype crashed and the tail of the aircraft destroyed. It's in this collection. I assume you have one of the vintage XF-91 kits (Lindberg 1:48?). If it was mine - I'd sand off the rivets!

Yes I have the Lindberg. It's got more rivets than a WWI tank. Not sure if I'll sand them off or go with a "vintage" build. I recall when I built it when I was a kid I brush painted it testors red metallic enamel.
