Putty time
Seats glued in place, some more wing surfaces glued
Canopy closed, canards and refueling probe glued, several small parts in the bottom part glued
AK Primer (AK 768) applied and nose painted with Tamiya NATO Black XF-69
After applying Tamiya X-22 gloss varnish, started to apply decals

Exhaust painted with several tones of AK Xtreme Metal colors
Glueing the landing gear
Decided to give it a pin wash, using a mix of Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color Light and Dark Gray; I used these products because they leave the model very clean
Pin wash applied
Final touch-ups
All ready here; on of the front wheels got a little skewed, I don't have the patience to do anything more on this model
Finished!!!

Add a spreader to push out the fuselage to meet the wing. It might solve your fit issue.

@tyu, I have done that kind of fix, but that would change the round shape of the exhaust in this case; with a little force, most of it is gone, the rest will be solved with regular putty; I'll post the photos;
@Maciej, welcome

Thank you mates, getting there; I am still in doubt if I will give it a pin wash or just leave it as it is, because all pictures show the plane immaculately clean……..

That's a wrap; not completely happy: the fit is not the best, the plastic has a weird texture, the wheels don't touch all in the floor and the same time, etc. But it's finished, and I'm happy with that! First of 2024. Final photos here: Chengdu J-10 | Album by RReis (1:48)
