Thanks. I got a D-9 project to, buit it's on hold due to lack of space on the workbench.

Now that is one nicely painted engine assembly! Is there no way you can display it with an open hood or something? It is a pity to hide it when it looks so realistic.

Thank you very much Thomas. I don't like the way open engine panels on FW 190s look. They spoil the racy lines IMHO. So I decided this would just be a painting exercise. Pretty soon it will almost all disappear for ever, apart from the exhaust stubs and the bit you can see through the wheel bay. But for anyone interested in this kit, I thought they might like to see how good the engine is, especially if they wanted to do the sort of thing you describe. I'm sure someone will! 🙂

Thank you Alberto. It's an amazing kit so far. The level of detail is quite astonishing. Almost everything you could want or need is in the box but I have invested in CMK exhausts, Master gun barrels, some better seat belts
and a masking set because I am lazy. 🙂

The ibg is one of my favorite Polish manufacturers! From ny opinion the breakdown of this Dora is more like a 1:48kit,especially the Jumo engine abd the cockpit details.
