Old school tracks ... have to be heat joints
Decals
Used Vallejo black primer + vallejo Airbrush Flow Improver
Trying something I saw on a modeler's video on a similar model. Spray spot sections for some fade/weathering effect once the Olive Drab is sprayed on the model. Using XF-2 White (2:3 thinner + Vallejo Airbrush Flow Improver).
Olive Drab XF-62
Airbrushed with Olive Drab XF-62 (Vallejo Airbrush Flow Improver and Tamiya Thinner). Tried out a few new things described in the next pictures.
Added some steps: Chrome silver dry brush, Tamiya black panel liner.
Tank shells: Copper XF-6, tips in Yellow XF-3 & Blue XF-8. The floor is dry brushed w/Chrome silver and black panel liner.
Chrome silver dry brush, Tamiya black panel liner. The headlights are done with Chrome Silver X-11 + Micro Kristal Klear.
Hand painted the "link" of the track in Olive Drab XF-62.
Turrent completed. First time coloring in the bullets of a 50cal, I was quite impressed with myself (LOL). Copper paint for the tips and the Gold for the brass. Machine gun is in Tamiya Gun Metal.
Turrent interior was dry brushed with Chrome silver, some parts I touched up with Tamiya Dark Iron XF-84, Metallic Gray XF-56.
The two boxes inside the turret and the replacement tracks mounted outside were done in Dark Iron XF-84.
Tools are a mix of: Metallic Gray XF-56, Dark Iron XF-84 & Earth XF-52. And for a more realistic feel, bore the barrell of the .50cal
Complete: Added the figure and decals.
