Anbei die Fotos meines GMC PD3751 Silverside Trailways Bus 1/35 Roden. Es gibt ja bekanntlich zwei Versionen. Ich habe mich wegen dem freundlichen Farben für die Trailways Version entschieden. Die roten Streifen sind alle hand made. Von den Decals habe ich die Schriftzüge und Nummern verwendet. Allgemein ist der Bausatz sehr empfehlenswert. Wer Roden kennt, weiss was ihn vom Aufwand her erwartet. Der Detailgrad und die allgemeine Gussqualität ist sehr gut. Ich habe mich entschlossen, die Türen und Motorklappen offen darzustellen.
Die Alufarbe ist eine Mischung 1:1 von Vallejo Metal Color mit Gauzy Agent Klarlack. Zusammen gemischt erzielt man einen feinen metallischen Auftrag. Man könnte dies auch mit Mattlack für matte Alusachen verwenden. Auch lässt sich mit dem Untergrund (matt, schwarz oder weiss) die Wirkung steuern. Die Vallejo gibt es auch in Chrom und vielen anderen Metalltönen. Chrom seht ihr an der Stosstage vom Bus. Ist nicht das Hochglanzspiegel Ding, jedoch sehr schon metallisch. Siehe letzte Fotos. Passt jetzt meiner Meinung nach besser zum Bus.
