Very convincing, all of them - and very nice brushwork Augie. I know it is not easy to get balanced coats via handbrush.

What if...when I built the Airfix B-29 in the 70s, it was clad in desert tan with RAF sky undersides, stars'n'bars, and b/w invasion stripes 😄

The real 'what if' I asked myself back then was "what if I try brushing it natural metal and f*ck it all up" 🙂

The funny thing was that I succeeded in persuading all my mates that the paintjob was totally authentic :-D

I only meant that the Spit did not need a rear gunner - the extra weight would spoil it. But if you look at it purely as a joke, then its different😉

I like them all. And they may not have been so far fetched! RAF Vigilante to replace the cancelled TSR.2? French Navy A-7F purchase seems very plausible. As I said, I like them all! I have a bunch of $.99 kits in the stash. Wonder what I can come up with?

The only what if I have ever done is a desert camo scheme A-10. I like the ones you have there especially the F-14.

Yikes! If I forget to put my glasses on, and disregard scale a bit, doesn't the RAF marked A-5 look a lot like a 'Tonka' at mid-sweep wing position?
