Another motorcycle....

The main parts, many of which require to be painted before assembly. 

Some items will be added later on, so are still on the sprue. 

Some very fine parts, and unfortunately two breakages had to be repaired already.... Hopefully you can't see where the repairs are 😉 

Parts primed, so inaccessible parts can be painted before assembly. All the interfaces were protected with white glue first, which is easily removed after painting, and before assembly.  

Only the decals to be added, and the rear stand.  

Rear stand and panniers being prepared, whilst glue dries on the bike. 

Lots painted after basic assembly, whilst there was easy access. Secondary framing now added too. 

Pannier frames had their square corners and rectangular sections rounded off, to be more like steel tubular framing. 

Adding the handlebars was tricky... 

Small parts being painted and added. 

Coming together.... 

Exhaust, carburettor and air intake pipe added. I guess it should also have a fuel pipe, but that may be beyond me...  

Fuel tank and air filter painted. I have used two different greens, for a little variation between the frame, and other sheet metal items. Some darker washes here and there, to create a few shadows. 

Panniers added.  

Gloss on the tank and where the speedometer dial decal will be added. 

The basic assembly was last weekend, but all of the top coat painting and secondary assembly was today's progress.  

Figures assembled and painted. The standing MP has optional left and right arms, so several variations possible.

I may add a wire to the streetlight 

Some weeds and debris in the corners would help soften the base of the walk. 

Sten guns still to be issued, and Unit markings on the fuel tank. 

A painted strip of Tamiya tape has been added to the DR's helmet, for his goggles. 

More scenery...but some repairs required...
