Picture that I will be replicating in a diorama. 

 

The "Blue C" is the plane in the picture above. 

Fuselage for this diorama closed, and shown alongside the fuselage for the other Hs 129 diorama I'm building (opened up with lots of CMK and Aires aftermarket). Because the cockpit area was tarped, I didn't spend any time on the cockpit other than to insert the tub. The fuselage halves and tub snap together in a perfect fit - well done Hasegawa!

Only modification made to the fuselage halves was to cut off the rudder, as I will be using a one-piece replacement from the Verlinden set. 

Half of wings cut off, and wings and nose pieces installed. The fit on this kit is really amazing. Very minimal filter needed. 

 

With the wings cut, I needed to insert a piece to close up the stub as you can see in this picture and the next two. 

 

 

The plane in the diorama had its rear stabilizers removed. So, I had to insert a piece matching this picture to close them up. 

...and here is the result. Waiting on the putty to cure, but I'm pretty happy with how the wings and tail pieces came out.
