First I cleaned up the 20 or so sinkmarks, and I fixed the PE side skirts.
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/8/2/1/43821-10911-35-720.jpg)
I removed the plastic suspension arms because they will be replaced by PE parts. The top of the cockpit also received some aftermarket parts.
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/8/2/2/43822-10911-79-720.jpg)
The lower cockpit half received PE bulkhead, pedals and radiators.
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/8/2/3/43823-10911-77-720.jpg)
The rear wing had been stripped of all the plastic deatil since it will be replaced by PE parts. The dashboard also received a PE part.

Dryfit of the cockpit...
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/8/2/5/43825-10911-69-720.jpg)
Dash has been painted, decalled and weathered.
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/8/2/6/43826-10911-46-720.jpg)
Brake cilinders have been scratched and painted, weathered and fixed.
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/8/2/7/43827-10911-49-720.jpg)
Rear wing reveived PE part, rear wing support as well. The plastic endplates are replaced by PE.
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/8/2/8/43828-10911-52-720.jpg)
Fixing the PE radiators at the bottom...
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/8/2/9/43829-10911-87-720.jpg)
Dryfit of the dashboard.
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/8/3/0/43830-10911-93-720.jpg)
Next the exterior PE parts are fixed. Unfortunately they don't fit very well...
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/8/3/1/43831-10911-31-720.jpg)
With all the PE aprts in place, and lined up as they should (see lines 1-1 and 2) there is a problem at the hub top (see question mark).
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/8/3/2/43832-10911-84-720.jpg)
The bottom fits ok though.
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/8/3/3/43833-10911-11-720.jpg)
Again, the problem area which is situated at the top of the central hub. I have to find a solution.
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/8/3/4/43834-10911-75-720.jpg)
With the cowling in place, the problem is invisible. But I want to show the car without the cowling in place!
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/2/6/8/44268-10911-25-720.jpg)
This picture showed me the solution: the central hub has an extra reinforcement on top, which I will scratch to hide the problem.
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/2/7/0/44270-10911-40-720.jpg)
So I scratched 2 aluminium reinforcement strips, polished them and fixed them over the erroneous area...

Wish you patience!
