the track was a little screwy but im going to chalk it up as my fault for gluing the idler arm in place first. A quick question for any T-34 experts when did the waffles tracks first appear? don't mind the gap on the bottom of the run it will be closed when I'm finished, the wheels and track are just on loose for the photo

Lookin' good mate! The first waffle pattern tracks did come in 1942.

thank you for the info Urban, i was thinking they appeared in the summer of 43 and this seems like a early 43 built T-34 but I'm not really sure thou, the differences in T-34 are exhaustive and very confusing

Is there any comprehensive reference you guys would recommend concerning the T-34 all i have is Squadron's old T-34 in action, Russian Armour #4 T-34 1939-1943 and mystical weapon they are helpful but not the end all and sometimes adds to my confusion.
