Thank you very much! Just glued the wooden decks on it.... thinking about weathering the deck or not..... I think i will leave it as it is ..... What do you think?
6 March 2013, 11:53
Holger Kranich
If you weather, than just a subtle washing with dark brown or so!

Decided to keep the deck as it is for the moment.... natural wood.... 🙂

Hallo, @Micha, das sieht sehr gut aus, mir gefällt dein Bauzustand der Bismarck sehr gut, auch die Alterung ist bis jetzt spitzen mäßig.

Hmmm, the Admiral's coffee pot on the bridge is missing, but except for that I can't find any mistake...😉😉😉
Wow--------wow---- what a built! Great stuff, Micha! I guess the etching parts I tried to use for 1:35-er kits are huge against those, you are handling on the Bismarck. Amazing! 👍 👍 👍

This is surely impressive to display in a room! I like the motor boats and the details in the funnel among other things. What is the rigging material, stretched sprue ?

Just saw this post for the first time...blown away by the weathering on the hull...what's the size of the ship in this scale?
26 June 2013, 18:38
Mohammad Adl

Very nice work - this huge kit is on my want list...
26 June 2013, 19:47
Michael Franz
Thanks a lot!
Die Rohrbälger sind aus dem Mk.1 Design-Set.

The used PE parts are really small some times.... 🙂 I worked on it since beginning of the year..... the rigging is made of EZ-line - the strech material from Wingnut Wings 🙂
The ship is about 120cm long....
26 June 2013, 19:48
Larry E
Micha if possibe can you take a photo with the kit? Thanks
26 June 2013, 19:51

Hi Larry - what kind of photo do you want?
26 June 2013, 19:55

Die Bismarck sieht klasse aus, ist das Cockpit für die Arado mit im Bausatz oder kommt es von Eduard?
