Erik, indeed I've used Vallejo model Air paints for it. I was using an airbrush that atomizes the paint extremely well and heavily diluted the paint (using a mixture of distilled water and Vallejo's airbrush thinner). Pressure wise, it was the lowest value that still gave me good paint atomization. I experienced some tip dry, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Mikro-Mir 1:72 Me262 V1 built straight out of the box (well some parts were thinned down bit). The model was painted with Vallejo Acrylics.
