Thanks Dick and Calvin, I am very happy with how it turned out. Just and odd observation from this build, but I was a bit dumbstruck at how close the Lifecolor Dark and Light Compass Ghost gray are to each other in darkness. It almost looks like one overall color. But after looking at pics of the actual aircraft, it seems that it really is supposed to be that way!

Yep. Fresh out of the corrosion shop one can readily tell the difference. A month or so afterward - they blend very well! 🙂

Indeed a very nice build! Great overall look. I especially like the colours on the exhausts. Well done!

Thanks Marko, Ingmar, and Ulf! I appreciate the kind words. Ingmar, I used Alclad gloss black primer, followed by Alclad Aluminum. Then I used Alclad Burnt Iron on top to create the burnt affect. The white marks inside the nozzles are from the Afterburner Decal sheet. Man, was that a fun afternoon getting those in there. Not. LOL

I focused so much on the burnt look that I didn't even notice those decals INSIDE the nozzles! Wow!
