Those older kits are a lot cheaper. I want the Hasegawa F-4s but they are always out of stock. I love the Acadmey kits, but the wife doesn't like the price. LOL.

Clifford you are so right. I got some older 48 scale kits at a model show for $5.00 dollars. 40 years ago they were start of the art now nobody want them. Keep up the good work.

Looking good Clifford! I've always liked the old Monogram kits. The cockpit detail on these is still better than most new-tool kits.

Thank you all very much. She has her A/C Gray coat now, and I must say I like the "Black Basing " results better than pre-shading. Some WIP. pics. tomorrow. I applied the clear coat this afternoon, in prep for decals.

thank you all very much. I got all the stencils on both sides of the fuselage, and started the top of the wings. Had to quit for the day, I was going cross eyed. LOL.

You inspired me to build a F-4 as next Clifford, I guess I have to open the big Eduard Box again 😉

Oh, prop-time is over, Cliffy? An F-4 a day keeps the AMS away!😢

Thank you guys.@Christian, I bet it will be a stunner, No Holger prop time is not over, still have plenty to do. I just can't figure which one I want to do, although I have a stealth build on the bench.

Great work with all those decals Cliffy, and no silvering insight, that must be pleasing. The weapons look awesome as well.👍

Thank you Michael.@ Augie, It is almost finished also. Just need to finish painting it's landing gear and tires, and do a little weathering.

Aww the good Old Monogram Kit, Still one of my favorite kits to build. In it's time it was the best for the money. With some resin bits, PE and some TLC it makes a great model. Keep up the awesome Work!!!

Looks great Clifford! I wish the pics were a little lighter so I can see how the black-basing technique came out for you.
