Loved the routine put on by the Raptor and especially liked the F-16 WW display. The Super Hornets where awesome on display and all Hornets where great in the air display. I didn't realise we had some of the guided weapons displayed.

Yeah, I made sure I got pics of the weapons as well. Always handy to have that reference.

Thanks for sharing. You are a lucky guy, to see all these aircrafts live.

Nice pics Michael. I couldn't be bothered dragging my butt the 40k's across town to go again and queue up in the traffic to get in and the horrible wait to get out! Plus all the dust! (hate the dust!!!!) Or the last time i went the mud (make that clay) and torrential rain!!!! Had to stand under a Virgin B777 until the rain eased! Haven't been for about 8 years BUT good to see nothing much has changed with the line up of aircraft! Usual suspects were there with a couple of variations of the same Newer Hornets, Newer SeaHawks. Real F-35 this time not just a full size plastic mock up, But hard to tell the difference as they both look like there held together with lots of grey gaffer tape! And more Boeing 737's added to the collection! (Yes i know there E-7's and P-8's) Nice to see one with a bomb bay though! Boeing should offer this to the airliners. This would make the baggage handlers job a bit quicker if they just dropped the luggage before landing! 🙂 I even slept overnight in my car one year in the carpark from Friday to Saturday to save the drive home after the 10pm finish on the Friday night, Security wasn't as tight back then! But it was a rough night's sleep as they had portable trailer generators with lights set up in the car park and they ran all night! Keep the pics coming! I plan to do a black 100th anniversary F-18F just got the decals! 🙂 cheers 🙂

I made the 3000 KLM round trip, I'd never been before and didn't want to miss the opportunity this year. I was so pleased to see the B-ONE (my favorite bomber of all time) the newer Hornets, F-35, F-16 & F-22. It was great seeing the Army vehicles as well because I have kits of the Bushmaster, ASLAV, M113 and A1M1 Abrams tank. We got there early Saturday morning and surprising the crowd wasn't as big as I had expected, got in quickly enough but, getting out was another story. We thought we'd leave at around 3 p.m got in the forby and thought this is alright until I turned the corner and saw the cue. We sat in one spot for an hour and a half without moving. I saw a half chance where I could squeeze between a couple of cars and I managed to zig zag through the parked cars. I made my own track, and in 15 minutes I was on the main road out of there.

I see you enjoyed the traffic too! The best thing to do to get out of there is stay to the right side of the carpark for as long as you can cutting through the rows of parked cars then merging as far down as possible! The other thing that is frustrating is that the "flightline" is always with the sun behind the subjects all the time so it makes the aircraft look dark all the time. Be nice if the crowd was on the other side with the sun in front of the display. I guess people in the U.K. are lucky to have airshow season every year but the weather looks pretty bad there most of the time!
