I spent the first couple of hours on this project. It is my first aircraft build. Building this WnW kit is pure fun so far. The rigging was a little bit tricky but no problem at all. Next steps will be finishing the cockpit equipment (seatbelts, camera, magazines) and the assembly of the motor.
I hope you can enjoy the pictures.

Excellent, clean and sharp work Moritz 👍 I much like all the extra details and the wooden painting on the cockpit framework.

Meanwhile I was able to spent some more hours on this project. I finished the seatbelts from the HGW set and I am fully convinced of these fabric parts. The assembly took some hours but the detail is superb, so I think it´s worth the effort. Last I started with the assembly and detailing of the engine. In this point the photoetched parts from HGW could only convince me partly. Some parts just doesn´t fit to the plastic parts so I have to use brass wire instead, other parts are just worse than the kits parts so I did not use them either.
I hope you can enjoy the pics nonetheless, I will add new pictures when the engine is completed.

This is already something to enjoy for me! A great build so far. The pit looks so awesome, i would be frightened to close the fuselage.👍

Thank you Holger, yes closing of the fuselage of WnW kits is kind of a Dilemma. I' m looking forward to See your Albatros getting started. Cheers

Thank you Stefan.
Meanwhile I finished the engine and closed the fuselage. On the engine I used some brass and silver wires for extra detailing. The engine is mainly painted with AK True metal colors, in my opinion the look of these colors is very realistic. After this I did a light weathering with thinned oil-paints.
Next step will be completing the fuselage (filling and sanding), before it gets its final color coat.
I hope you enjoy the pics and I am looking forward to your comments.
Cheers

Thank you Spanjaard
I finally finished the floats of this aircraft. The assembly and rigging was easy but I had some issues with the lozenge Decals.
I hope you can enjoy the pics. Cheers
