Yep - apparently even flew a couple of times. Built on the theory of 3 wings good, five wings better!

First time I've seen one of these built. I think someone at the Fokker factory didn't read the blueprints right or had too many schnapps!

The days of experimentation - they knew something worked, but not why it worked, so they took things to extremes. For this one they found the point where it didn't work anymore!

This is the Anigrad Craftswork kit of the Fokker V-8 prototype 5-winged fighter of 1917. The nose has been re-profiled and a few minor details added to make it look a bit more like photos of the original.
