Thank you! 1961 there was an army evaluation in Fort Rucker (on grass). Contenders were R1s (italian colors) and R3s (Luftwaffe colors+dayglo), A-4s and F-5. The USAF didnt like that, made trouble, so the army stopped buying jets. This early subtype Gina demonstrator belonged to Italy despite US colors. Its in Museo Ford Gratton (IT) now in later colors.
