That's a beautiful Mirage! Was considering this kit as I want the Giora Epstein decals.. There seem to be better kits of the Mirage these days. What was your opinion of the kit? Your build looks pretty good to me. Thanks for your thoughts.

Hi Paul, the kit is an older mould with raised panel lines (!), but is overall ok. I would advise you a recenter kit though.

Looking at your build again, I see the camo has been "soft lines". Of course the real aircraft have "hard lines" but I find the soft ones such as yours more pleasing to look at on the model. I was wondering if that was intentional or was just easier? I'm not sure which is "best"; but as I said, the soft lines seems more …"pleasing" somehow. Just curious if you had any thoughts on that. And did you re-scribe the raised panel lines? Again, that's a beautiful build.

One last question - the kit says, "Upgraded Molds". Do you know what they "upgraded"?

Hi Paul,
Concerning the soft lines of the camo, it was intentional; when looking at pictures of the real thing I don't find the edges so hard. Now, maybe mine are too soft indeed but it was intentional. And no, I didn't re-scribe the raised panel, I thought it would be worse than other.
Upgraded molds? I'd rather say: cleaned molds.
