Hasegawa Space Shuttle Eggplane WiP
The shuttle needs a base. So I procured plastic eggs from Easter decorations.
To add weight, I filled the egg with plaster.
Mr. Surfacer primer and pencil drawing of the egg world
Using Vallejo colors I painted a little world on the egg.

Assembly is a quick thing.
To hide the giant seam in the mission module I covered it with sheet styrene.
I added a mount for the support rod.
The cockpit window was sprayed blue and dipped in Future.
Primed and ready for paint!
Soft pre-shading
... and blending in with white.
For the black, i chose to post-shade in tyre grey
Time for decaling!
OK, the decals were quite thick.

That is some really nice artwork, very realistic. But some would argue that a more accurate vision would be a fried egg.;)

Picture 4 through 7: I just painted a little world on the egg... Just like Rembrandt said: I just painted some guys on a 15 square meter canvas..
