Build Album

I have finally got modelling things sorted, so this is the first kit buid since I was 15 !! 

Opened the box. This kit was purchased on eBay from someone who never quite got round to it. All the pieces and instructions are present. 

The original owner had assembled some of the front suspension, wheel hubs and steering components so the first thing i am going to have to do is take it all apart and then re-assemble after painting/spraying. 

Took apart the front suspension assembly as it had not been painted or sprue bits cleaned off. As gentle as I was a couple of the bits were damaged. 

Had to make some improvised repairs using clipped pieces of a safety pin and drilling out the plastic to mount them. Looks OK now. 

Managed to get suspension assembly back together and step 1 completed with painting and decals. 

The next problem was that the previous owner had glued the seat/dash together & broken it apart, snapping the dash mounting & losing one of the dash pieces & the steering wheel. I raided a Ferrari FXX kit for a wheel & glued a piece of sprue to mount it. 

Glued it together as best I could, and painted the seat. It doesnt look too bad. Need to touch up seatbelts and add decals next.
