It crashed into a bird in October 1983 and was a write off.

Fatal crash. On take-off, J-252 ingested a large bird, decided to terminate take-off, missed the arrestor cable and ended up in a ditch outside the airfield obliterating the front part. Capt J.C. de Vries was killed in this mishap. The special tail to commemorate 40 yrs of 322 sqn was already painted over, but parts of it became visible after the crash

Well, I said it would be finished soon...a year ago 😂
Since I had the airbrush out for some white paint, I decided to paint some of this one too. The red has an undercoat of white too.
Still trying to find the decals of this kit, must be somewhere in the mess that is the hobby room....

Made this kit when I was a kid, sweet memories Jan! This is also the only F-16 kit in the world which needs a nose weight I believe 😄. Great start!

I decided not to go ahead with this one, I can't find the decals, there are too many things that don't look as they should, so I can't see the point of finishing it.

Günther, I know, but there are more issues with this one, I forgot to add the nose weight, and there are numerous seams and other things I don't like that show trough the paint. I've dumped it in the heap of shame, as a testbed or for spares.
