Dutch Coastguard
Ready for the start
Applying the blue and orange stripes, a terrible job, because the paint kept seeping through the masking. I almsot gave up at this moment
It looks nice, but there's something wrong
The orange was too small! Masking everything again and applying the orange once more
The colourbands are now correct
And suddenly I made a lot of progress. Added lots of aerials under the fuselage. Mistaking left for right with some, so again, removing and repositioning
Added the SLAR pods
A nice portrait
The final result

one of my favorite subjects - very well done! how did you build the 5-blade rotors and the side radar?

The props were the most difficult. I asked Revell for a spare prop, which they were kind enough to send me and then cut all the blades loose, but one. I took a picture of a real fivebladed prop and reduced it to scale and used it as a template. I only made one mistake: on one of the props, the blades are at a wrong angle compared to the original blade. But who cares. The SLAR I cut and sanded from a piece of styrene 2.0 x 3.2 mm
