After a 3 month brake I'm back at my bench and started this nice kit.
A pilot will be added to the cockpit later

Nice Stephan!
Frage, die Bomben waren im Bausatz oder hast du diese aus dem Aftermarket Bereich? Schauen echt Klasse aus. Ach ja der Pilot auch 🙂

Thank you Konrad and James 🙂 I'm glad about your comments
There are no pylons or bombs in the Kit
I use the bombs from wingman production and the pylons from eduard
The pilot is from PJ production but needs some adjustments

Great start. Will look closely since I'm planning to do 2 of these soon. In Dutch livery off course.

Thank you all for your kind comments 🙂
I hope to finish the camouflage of the manned rocket today - I found it very tricky to get those sharp lines done as you need for Norm 72

Awesome progress Stephan...what paint and numbers did you use? Personally, I think the green paint is a little too green ... personal taste of course 😉

Grey will be a littel bit darker- hopefully 😉

Are you going to make a German version? Last year I also made a Dutch 104 and used a RAL 6014 color from Ammo Mig Jimenez, number 087 gelbolive. The green is a little more greenish brown. Good luck mate I look forward to your next photos ... 👍

Thank you Ice 🙂 I also like variations
@Jos - yes a german version from Jabo G31 „Boelke"
I also used gelbolive 71.013 but on a black primer
In the end it will look like a rag rug - hopefully like the real thing - after some time these birds were repainted sometimes by spraycan 🙂 - a nice used look

Very nice Starfighter , Stephan. I saw on the internet that Freedom Model Kits might bring out the "short" version with German markings too , toypanic.com/toy.aspx?p=37442

Looks great, the hi-res close-ups are a joy to review. 90% clean as should be, just a little toning around the engine - well struck, good job 👍
Is the ground crew cheering because he actually made controlled contact with the ground?😉

This is the „last chance" ground crew who just armed the weapons and showing the pilot the safety pins from the bomb racks 🙂
